This page tells you about the terms on which you may use the website available at new.linguistdirectory.com (“MathsForSATs .com” or “website”) or use or purchase our services (“services”). By using the website and our services, you accept the terms and agree to comply with them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the website or our services.
We may update these terms from time to time, so please check back regularly as any updates will apply to your use of the website and our services. It’s important to us that you understand these terms, so please do ask if there is anything you’re unsure about.
Who we are
MathsForSATs.com is an online platform for Teachers and students designed to help:
- Teachers plan and prepare activities and tasks for their students;
- Students to engage in learning activities that can help them improve their knowledge and receive immediate feedback;
- Students to self-evaluate their progress and ask for help if needed;
- Students’ parents to receive regular feedback about their child’s progress;
- Teachers to effectively monitor students’ progress.
Our aim is to create an engaging platform for students, teachers and parents to help them connect and understand how they can work together to achieve the best results.
MathsForSATs.com is owned and operated by LD Pro, whose office is at 6 Coldhams North, Huntingdon, England, PE29 1UB (“we” or “us”).
Registering for an account
To register, you must also be at least 18 years old. We will ask you to create an account with a username and password. We will also ask you for various pieces of information, which will vary depending on the type of account you are creating. For more information on what information is required and how we process that personal data, please familiarise yourself with our privacy policy, which can be read here. We reserve the right to refuse to allow you to use the website if we have reason to believe the information you provide is false or inaccurate.
a) Students
Subscription terms
When you register for an account, you will be required to provide various information which will enable us to create your account and process the payment. You will then subscribe to a membership (“Student or Student (non-recurring)”).r
Student – £4.99 per month
Our Student Subscription is designed to help children learn year 6 maths add-free and distraction-free while allowing their parents or carers to monitor their progress.
- We will provide you with interactive learning activities for your child or children and keep you informed about their progress.
When you sign up for the Student monthly Subscription, the Subscription will start on the day you make payment and will renew every 1 month until you cancel your Student Subscription. Save as stated below, any cancellations during the annual term will take place at the end of the monthly term. All our payments are taken by a third-party payment provider, currently Stripe. You should check Stripe’s terms and conditions and privacy policy before making payment. We reserve the right to change the price of the Student Subscription, but we will notify you of any price change before it happens.
Cancellation of the Student Subscription
You can cancel your Student Subscription within 30 days of its commencement, no questions asked and we will refund you 2/3 of your Student Subscription fee within 30 days. After that, if you wish to cancel your Student Subscription, please provide us 30 days’ written notice, which will take effect at the end of your fixed 1-month term.
By continuing your Student Subscription (i.e., not cancelling), you authorise us to bill your payment method. If your payment method expires and you do not update it, we may cancel your Student Subscription and you will lose access to the benefits your Student Subscription provides. You must still pay for the Student Subscription even if you do not use it, until you cancel your Student Subscription.
Student (non-recurring) – £29
Our Student (non-recurring) Subscription is designed to help children learn year 6 maths add-free and distraction-free while allowing their parents or carers to monitor their progress.
- We will provide you with interactive learning activities for your child or children and keep you informed about their progress.
By subscribing to the Student (non-recurring) plan, you make a one-time payment that grants you access to the website’s resources and materials for a specified duration. Once this period ends, your Subscription will expire, and access to the online resources will be discontinued. To regain access, you must initiate a new Subscription.
b) Teachers
Subscription terms

Teacher – £99.50 per year
Our Teacher Subscription is designed to help children learn year 6 maths add-free and distraction-free while allowing their teacher to monitor their progress.
- We will provide you with interactive learning activities for your students and keep you informed about their progress.
When you sign up for the Teacher yearly Subscription, the Subscription will start on the day you make payment and will renew every 1 year until you cancel your Teacher Subscription. Save as stated below, any cancellations during the annual term will take place at the end of the yearly term. All our payments are taken by a third-party payment provider, currently Stripe. You should check Stripe’s terms and conditions and privacy policy before making payment. We reserve the right to change the price of the Teacher Subscription, but we will notify you of any price change before it happens.

By subscribing to the Teacher (non-recurring) plan, you make a one-time payment that grants you access to the website’s resources and materials for a specified duration. Once this period ends, your Subscription will expire, and access to the online resources will be discontinued. To regain access, you must initiate a new Subscription.
Verification and monitoring
Once you register, you gain access to all activities and resources. We rely on your honesty, accuracy and integrity in respect of the information you provide. You should keep your details updated at all times. A failure to update your details or renew your Subscription when you should may result in your account being deleted and your details removed from the website without any liability to you.
If the information you provide is found to be dishonest or inaccurate, or if complaints have been made, we reserve the right to delete your account and you will lose the right to access the website then or in the future. We can accept no liability for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of your page being deleted.
Students
You can interact with the activities posted on the website and submit your answers.
Use of the website
You have permission for temporary use of the website, but we can withdraw or change our service at any time without telling you and without being legally responsible to you.
You must treat all identification codes, passwords, and other security information as confidential. If we think you have failed to keep confidentiality, we are allowed to disable any security information (including your passwords and codes). You must not allow anyone else to use the website using your login details.
Only use the website as allowed by law and these terms. If you don’t, we may suspend your usage, or stop it completely.
We frequently update the website and make changes to it, but we don’t have to do this. No material on the website is intended to contain advice, and you shouldn’t rely on them. We exclude all legal responsibility and costs for reliance placed on website by anyone.
By using the website, you agree to us handling this information and confirm that data you provide is accurate.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the website any material:
(a) that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience;
(b) for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals;

You may not misuse the website (including, without limitation, by hacking it). We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or locate anyone posting any material in breach of this section.
We do not make any warranty to you that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free and while we will use commercially reasonable endeavours to ensure the website is available 24/7, we cannot guarantee it and we are not liable for any downtime or where the website is unavailable to you.
Our legal responsibility to you
We do not guarantee the accuracy of material on the website, nor do we make any guarantees as to the timelines, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found on the website for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee any particular level or quality of work provided by a Teacher.
As far as legally possible, we exclude legal responsibility for the following:
- Any loss to you arising from use of the website; and
- Loss of income, profit, business, data, contracts, goodwill, or savings.
We also exclude, as far as legally possible, all terms and warranties or promises implied by law or by statutes. We do not exclude legal responsibility for death or personal injury owing to our negligence, or legal responsibility for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else where exclusion is not allowed by the law.
When you use the website as a Teacher or a Student and you provide or engage the services of the other, a legal relationship is formed directly between the Teacher and Student. We provide the ability to connect you. If you have any issue with a Teacher or with a Student, please deal with this directly with them. We are not liable or responsible for any issue or concern you may have with an individual Teacher or Student.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any of the products and services without notice at any time.
Intellectual property rights
We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the website (for example the copyright and any rights in the designs) and in any of the material posted on it. They are protected by copyright.
You acknowledge that you are prohibited from copying, disassembling, reverse decompiling or saving the same, in any manner or any form whatsoever, by any means whether electronic, manual, mechanical, digital, optical, photographic, or otherwise any of our intellectual property to pass of as your own for the purpose of redistribution, dealing or reselling of the products or services.
If you breach these terms, you lose your right to use the website, and must destroy or return any copies of our digital content or products you have made.
Uploading to the website
Material that you upload will be regarded as non-confidential and not owned. This means that we can copy it, distribute it, and show it to other people for any purpose. You agree that if anyone else claims to own the material, or says that it breaches their rights, we can give them your identity.
We won’t be legally responsible to anybody for the accuracy of material that you upload to the website and we can remove it at any time.
This section does not apply to any personal data you input into the website, which will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy, available on our website.
Computer offences
If you do anything which is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, your right to use the website will end straightaway. We will report you to the relevant authorities and give them your identity. Examples of computer misuse include introducing viruses, worms, Trojans and other technologically harmful or damaging material.
You must not try to get access to the website or server or any connected database or make any ‘attack’ on the website. We won’t be legally responsible to you for any damage from viruses or other harmful material that you pick up via the website.

You are allowed to make a legal link to the website’s homepage from your website. We can end this permission at any time. You must not suggest any endorsement by us or association with us unless we agree in writing.

Applicable Law
These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising hereunder, shall be governed by, and interpreted according to the law of England and Wales and all disputes arising under the Agreement (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
